new year's resolution

One of my New Year's resolutions is to create more with the beautiful papers I've been hoarding -- especially when it comes to BasicGrey.
I made a set of cards with a basically the same design and mix and matched with some pretty LilyKate papers and embellishments. On the flowers of both cards, I "painted" on some White Opal Liquid pearls and stickles.

If you are looking for a reputable charity to donate towards the Haiti disaster, I highly recommend this one:
Love a Child
We have sponsored a child through them for several years and I am very impressed with their program.
What I like about them is that they provide jobs to locals, educate the people to improve their quality of life, and help the Haitians be self-sufficient.
You can donate safely online, read the directors blog, view the latest update on the relief, see the children's school, orphanage, food distribution, medical center, etc.
If you scroll down on the website, you can see they are fully accredited as an EFCA registered charity and the financial accountability is some of the highest I've seen.
